AIREP Accreditation requirements

All AIREP accredited professionals, whatever their level or scope of accreditation do business legally, meet the minimum legal requirements of the country in which they operate and pledge to abide by the AIREP code of conduct.

Currently there are four types of accreditation awarded by AIREP:

  • Approved
  • Expert
  • Qualified
  • Qualified expert

      Approved

    AIREP "Approved” accreditation is open to all professionals operating within the overseas real estate industry.

    To attain this accreditation the professional must do business lawfully within the country in which they are established / operate, and sign up and adhere to the AIREP code of moral and professional conduct.

    Expert

    AIREP "Expert” accreditation is open to experienced real estate agents operating within the overseas real estate industry.

    To attain this accreditation the professional must be a real estate agent and demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience within the real estate sector of the country where they are established / operate. They must also show that they operate according to that country's laws and adhere to the AIREP code of conduct.

     

     
    Qualified

    “AIREP qualified” accreditation is open to officially qualified real estate agents operating within the overseas real estate industry.

    To attain this accreditation the professional must be a real estate agent and hold a real estate sector diploma, degree or licence officially recognised by the country where they are established / operate. They must also operate according to that country's laws and adhere to the AIREP code of conduct.

     

     
    Qualified expert

    “AIREP qualified expert” accreditation is open to experienced and qualified real estate agents operating within the overseas real estate industry,

    To qualify for this accreditation the professional must:

    Be a real estate agent and hold a real estate sector diploma, degree or licence issued in and officially recognised by the country where they are established / operate.

    Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience within the real estate sector of the country where they are established / operate.

    Do business lawfully within the country in which they are established / operate and adhere to the AIREP code of moral and professional conduct.
